Introduction (Aerocool Aluminum Quad LED):
Today 3DXtreme has the great pleasure of reviewing 2 new case fans from Aerocool. The X-Flow Storm Juggler adjustable 80MM fan and also an Aluminum quad blue LED 80MM fan. There is not usually much to be said about a case fan other than the amount of air it is able to push and how it looks lit up in the case of LED fans. Aerocool has many fan solutions to choose from, from a basic case fan to the more noticeable light up fans. For the case modders out there the LED fan can add light to a system instead of using a cold cathode or other alternatives.

Specifications (Aerocool Aluminum Quad LED):
First we will look at the LED case fan, and here are the statistics on the Aluminum Quad LED 80MM fan:

Dimension: 80 X 80 X 25MM
Bearing: Sleeve
RPM: 2000 RPM
Air Flow: 21.5 CFM
Noise Level: 20.3 dBA
Housing: Aluminum AA6063
Fan Blade: UL Polyester

Here is the fan before installation:

By looking at the specifications for this fan, 21.5 CFM doesn’t sound like a lot of air movement, however, just feeling the amount of air flow with your hand compared to a stock case fan you can tell it’s pushing more. Here we can see a before and after of the fan installed in the system:

This fan compliments the Spidey case quite well, and with the blue cold cathode is a good fit for this system. At 20.3 dBA this fan is barely even noticeable to the ear. This fan provides a perfect case modding solution with it’s LEDs and also very good ventilation to keep any case cool. It can also be connected easily to any rheobus via any 3 pin power connection.
